Three individuals wearing Halloween masks—dressed as a clown, Michael Myers, and a sinister nun—pulled up to a house in Alexandria, Virginia around 10 p.m., pounding doors, making threats to force entry, and terrorizing a family inside.
Footage from the family’s doorbell camera captures the masked pair demanding the occupants open the door, declaring, “It’s your worst nightmare,” and insisting they would come in if not let in. The family, including a mother, her daughter, a younger sibling, and a dog, remained inside while the intruders also broke fences, damaged deck screens, and peered through windows.
The intruders stayed for about ten minutes before fleeing the scene. At no point did the residents open the door. No physical injuries were reported.
Law enforcement is reviewing surveillance footage from nearby homes as they continue to search for the suspects. Charges under consideration include burglary and making criminal threats.
