MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hasan and journalist Matt Taibbi spat about Hunter Biden’s laptop and the scandalous Twitter Files.
Hasan started throwing jabs at Taibbi, saying things like, “You’re doing PR work for the world’s richest man” and bringing up the fact that Taibbi lied to Congress about the source of his information.
A snippet of Taibbi’s 2021 podcast interview with Joe Rogan was played on the show of the Leftist presenter. According to Taibbi’s article, authors should not accept assignments handed to them.
However, a journalist with The Independent said that the channel frequently broadcast “fake Russian hit stories.”
For the previous six years, MSNBC has done nothing except spread fabricated Russian attack tales supplied by the FBI, so Taibbi pointed out the irony, saying, “It’s funny that this is coming from MSNBC.” None of you have shown regret for what happened.
Hasan has shielded himself by claiming he is innocent since he was not employed by MSNBC at the time.
According to Taibbi, the findings from the Twitter Files will remain relevant long after you’ve forgotten about Russia. However, he also said that the media didn’t pay nearly enough attention to the “Hunter Biden laptop from hell” scandal.
Since I don’t recall ever mentioning the Hunter Biden incident in any of my writings, you should definitely apologize for misquoting me. You claimed that I misrepresented our conversation from the outset by inserting references to the Hunter Biden scandal when none existed.
However, in a tweet from October of 2020, the MSNBC presenter downplayed the significance of the news.
Tweeting about the New York Post’s coverage of Hunter Biden, Hasan remarked, “Even if every word of the New York Post’s “reporting” on Hunter Biden is true, it still wouldn’t add up to one percent of the corruption stories about Trump, his family, his administration, or the families of his administration.”
