Matt Walsh, host of “The Matt Walsh Show” on The Daily Wire, was recently presented with the 2023 Bulldog Award for Outstanding Podcast from the Media Research Center (MRC). Last year, in response to what they saw as the Pulitzer Prizes’ bias toward journalists on the left who promote liberal causes, the MRC established the Bulldog Awards. The MRC sees the recipients of the Bulldog Award as courageous journalists who will cover subjects the left-leaning media will not.
When it comes to opposing transgender ideology and the damaging activities of the left, such the sexual mutilation of adolescents, Matt Walsh is a well-known figure in the conservative world. Matt Walsh is the host of The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh Show, a popular podcast, and the author of the best-selling children’s book “Johnny the Walrus.” In revealing the dangers and inconsistencies of the left’s gender politics, Walsh’s seminal film “What Is a Woman?” was crucial.
MRC claims that during the last week of April, Walsh’s podcast was the most listened to news podcast in the United States on Spotify. Walsh’s popularity and influence continue to increase despite multiple attempts to suppress him, including the demonetization of his YouTube account and the hacking of his phone barely a month ago.
The MRC also honored Karol Markowicz and Chaya Raichik, the creators of the Twitter account Libs of TikTok and the book “Stolen Youth: How Radicals Are Erasing Innocence and Indoctrinating a Generation,” as recipients of the 2023 Bulldog Awards.
