Markle and Prince Harry have been parodied in a “South Park” episode.
Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister, has spoken out against the February 15 episode of “South Park” that included a harsh portrayal of Markle and Prince Harry.
Even though Markle and Harry have been making media appearances and filming a docuseries for Netflix, Samantha believed the episode “The World Privacy Tour” did an excellent job of conveying their desire to keep a low profile.
Samantha called the “South Park” episode “hysterical” in an interview with GB News.
Her observation that the public relations sector is “laden with journalists,” or newspapers and television shows that “say what you want and mold societal opinion in your favor while also criticizing and lying about others, therefore compromising their privacy,” really struck me as astute.
She went on to comment, “I find the entire ‘global privacy tour’ is ridiculous since, in my opinion, and the perspective of others, they are placing themselves on the international stage, using pricy PR while claiming privacy, producing books, and appearing on ‘Oprah’ that had 50 million people.”
“People that are cautious of their personal space would never do anything like that,” Samantha, the sister, said of her brother-in-law. Although you appear to like being on your own, this assertion seems false. They succeeded beyond my expectations. Really.”
Markle is “upset and overwhelmed” by the episode’s publication, and she is “annoyed by ‘South Park,’ but refuses to watch it all,” according to The Spectator.
The prince and his wife, a fictitious Canadian royal couple, were spoofs of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were never explicitly identified in the episode. A passionate plea for seclusion is made on behalf of the young royal couple and their entourage in this spoof.
It was also said that Markle and Harry’s characters pretended to be victims in a “South Park” episode. Samantha advised him that playing the victim card while making $100 million in one deal and $2 million in another was a recipe for disaster.
To “tug at the heartstrings of people,” she guessed, they “play the victim.” But, this was “only a smokescreen” meant to cover up the true problem.
After seeing the comedy show, Samantha remarked, “I guess a lot of people feel that it’s been established that there is a shortage of empathy, grief, or remorse, you know, they’re sort of empty.” The crowd insisted on this after witnessing a scene in which the actress playing Harry’s wife opened her mouth but did not respond, resulting in a loud boom.
Samantha added there is a lot of “hypocrisy” in the Sussexes’ view on the law regarding the defamation suit she brought against Markle. The following statement may be made about them: “They take a large freedom to attack and humiliate other people, but they don’t want anybody to utilize even a remote resemblance or likeness of them or make jokes about them.”
According to urban legend, Markle and Harry are considering suing the “South Park” creators. Samantha went on to expand, heaping even more criticism on her sister and brother-in-law.
“I’m sorry, I missed the letter that said God had died and that these people were now gods and had the rights to all the jokes. That’s quite conceited of you.
Samantha sued Markle for defamation recently, claiming that Markle’s “demonstrably inaccurate and harsh statements communicated to a worldwide audience” were the grounds for the suit’s filing.
She plans to sue for $75,000 throughout the trial.
Since 2018, the Markle family has been the subject of numerous rumors and speculation. Samantha Markle and her brother, Thomas Markle Jr., were “baffled” when they weren’t invited to the royal couple’s rumored wedding reception. Samantha vented her anger at the duchess for the way she handled the nuptials and subsequent events.
Markle talked about the conflict she has with her father in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. The rumor at the time was that Samantha was working on a book codenamed “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.”
Markle told Oprah, “I think it would be incredibly hard to divulge fully” because of their unfamiliarity. I learned from my dad that treachery rarely occurs from a stranger, but rather from someone you know and trust. It’s difficult for me to open up about myself to people I don’t know well.
Markle remarked, “I haven’t seen Samantha in around 19 years, and before that, it had been about 10 years.” She legally changed it back to Markle once I started dating Harry. In any case, I think that’s plenty for now.
