Former Fox News personality Megyn Kelly remarked on Thursday that the network has gone downhill since Tucker Carlson left.
Tucker’s Friday ratings are much lower than the show’s Monday and Tuesday levels for this week. (Turnout tends to be lower on Friday nights at 9 o’clock.) Just look at last Monday and Tuesday of last week against this Monday and Tuesday. Taking to social media, Kelly wrote and posted the following, describing the situation as a “bloodbath” because “they lost HALF of their viewers.”
Fox News announced the cancellation of the show Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday. Thanking Carlson “for his service to the network,” Fox expressed their appreciation to him.
With 4.56 million prime-time viewers in April 2020, Tucker Carlson Tonight surpassed Hannity in popularity.
The show averaged 4.33 million viewers in the second quarter of 2020. In all of history, that was the largest audience for a news broadcast.
According to Mediaite, Carlson had the most Democratic viewers in the crucial 25-54 age bracket in October 2022. Basically everywhere I went, this was the situation.
Kelly’s fervent fans shared their reactions to the findings. Someone said they had “canceled all things FOX” and that they knew others who had done the same.
A commentator has predicted that “even the other shows will lose viewers, and a large percentage of those viewers will follow Tucker.”
Someone another chimed in, “That’s just the start of their fall.”
Carlson, upon departing, produced a DVD praising his former countrymen.
“When you get away from the noise for a few days, one of the first things you notice is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country,” he explained.
People of high moral character. Truth-seekers and satirists alike can feel at home in our community. They number in the hundreds. Because of how many people there are, this will always be the case. right this second. Carlson remarked, “That gives me hope.”
After Carlson’s departure on Monday, the market value of the Fox Corporation fell by $800 million.
A report from Breitbart News stated, “Monday’s losses for Fox Corporation came just days after Fox settled a big defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787 million right before the trial.”
