In a recent interview with Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures,” Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia shared her insights regarding an incident involving Hunter Biden at a congressional hearing. Greene, a member of the Republican Party, expressed her surprise at Biden’s appearance at the hearing and characterized his demeanor as akin to a child having a temper tantrum upon being confronted with potential consequences.
According to Greene, Biden’s abrupt departure from the courtroom occurred just as she was about to speak, a move she interpreted as an indication of his apprehension regarding the issues she planned to address. She noted that while Biden appeared relatively composed during Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s remarks, his reaction changed noticeably upon Greene’s turn.
Greene highlighted her focus on allegations related to Hunter Biden’s involvement in violating the Mann Act, which concerns the trafficking of individuals across state lines. She mentioned that the oversight committee, of which she is a member, has gathered evidence to support these allegations. Greene emphasized the severity of these accusations and her intent to bring them to light during the hearing.
Furthermore, Greene raised concerns about Kevin Morris, an individual she described as financially supporting Hunter Biden and being a prominent purchaser of his artwork. Greene indicated that an investigation is underway to examine the nature of Biden’s art sales, suggesting that these transactions might be a continuation of questionable business practices involving leveraging political influence for personal gain.
In her conversation with Bartiromo, Greene conveyed her belief that Hunter Biden’s actions at the hearing were a deliberate attempt to avoid hearing her allegations, underscoring what she perceives as his reluctance to confront the issues she planned to raise.
