Mitt Romney read the Mueller report and what he took away from it is that Trump is dishonest and power-mad albeit innocent of any crimes. I may be wrong but I keep sensing he is planning another run for president.
Trump pegged Romney when he said that if Romney had fought Obama like he does Trump, he would have been elected president. He tore Obama up in their first debate then laid down and gave up in the 2nd and third. Romney has taken Jeff Flake’s spot as the biggest ah on the Republican side of the Senate.
Republican Utah Sen. Mitt Romney took flak Friday from many prominent supporters of President Donald Trump after he posted his take on the Mueller report to Twitter.
“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” he wrote, after characterizing as “good news” the fact that there was “insufficient evidence” to charge Trump with a crime.
“I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine,” he continued.
