The moving film was uploaded by the star on Tuesday. There’s a scene where she and her spouse are seen evacuating kids from Nashville before the gunfire starts.
Hart has stated that her children attend a public elementary school not far from both the Covenant and Sandy Hook elementary schools.
On Monday, former Covenant student Audrey Hale fired and murdered three students and three faculty members.
Melissa Joan Hart wept as she described how she rushed to the aid of kindergarteners at a Nashville elementary school on Monday, when a gunfire broke out.
Good thing students didn’t have school today, because in the video, the 46-year-old Sabrina the Teenage Witch actress said, “My husband and I were on our way to school for conferences, and I was feeling really emotional about it.”
We crossed the street with a kindergartner class. After hiding in the woods for a while from the school gunman, they finally emerged.
Melissa, whose sons attend the neighboring school, explained: “So we helped these little kids cross the road and get their teachers over there.”
When people say things like, “We reunited a mom with her kids, and all I can say is…” I find myself at a loss for words. I just can’t handle it. For the sake of the families, please hold out faith.
She also broke the sorrowful news that she and her family had relocated from Connecticut to Tennessee’s music capital, Nashville.
Melissa stated, “We relocated here from Connecticut, where we attended school not far from Sandy Hook, making this the second time our children have lived in close proximity to a school where someone was tragically murdered.
“Thank God, nobody got hurt.”
As the recording closed, Hart urged viewers to “pray for the families” of the victims.
A 28-year-old transsexual woman called Audrey Halle opened fire at the Covenant school where she once studied around 10 a.m. on a Monday.
Three ninth-graders, Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, were killed when Hale opened fire at The Covenant School at 10:13 a.m.
Also lost were substitute instructor Cynthia Peak (age 61), superintendent Dr. Katherine Koonce (age 60), and maintenance man Mike Hill (age 61).
Koonce’s daughter, Anna, is an employee at the school where they once worked together.
In just 14 minutes, Hale was deceased, and the Nashville Police Department identified the cops who shot and killed him as Rex Engelbart and Michael Collazo.
A representative for the school said late Monday night, “Our community is heartbroken.”
Our community is reeling from the tragic events that have befallen our church and school.
Loving our students, their families, and our faculty and employees is a first step toward recovery.
Hale was born a girl but her LinkedIn profile indicates that she has been living as a guy, and the police have only said that she is transgender.
Hale was still addressed as a she as late as Monday night.
According to Nashville police chief John Drake, Hale left a note that suggested he resented attending a Christian school.
Norma Hale, Hale’s mother, was a religious leader who shared her beliefs frequently on Facebook.
The Audrey Hale we know is in her twenties, resides in Nashville, and we believe she attended the aforementioned institution of higher learning.
Some people believe that having to go to that institution created some anger,” Drake told NBC News.
This occurred because I don’t know what else transpired.
There were three children smaller than nine and three people who lost their lives.
