It was supposed to be a propaganda film for Democrats but in the end it was a rude awakening for MSNBC. MSNBC reporter Mariana Atencio traveled to Houston to interview Latinos who live in the hotly contested 7th District. She started the segment by pointing out that Latinos make up 30% of the district and a shift by them would install the Democrat into the House seat.
The scenario was set, and MSNBC was about to show what happens when you oppose open borders. But, what she found was not what she expected. The Latino voters were against the caravan in particular and illegal aliens in general.
Atencio then conducted interviews with Texas Latino voters who said they were votingRepublican because of the caravan.
“I do believe that if somebody wants to live in the United States, they should go through the official process. So as a result, I tend to ally myself with people who agree with that,” the Texas Latino voter said.
“When you see images like the migrant caravan and President Trump talking about the caravan, does that motivate you to want to vote in a certain way?” Atencio asked.
The voter responded, “Yes, it makes me want to vote Republican. I think if you want to live in this country, you need to abide by its laws.”
“That blows my mind,” the MSNBC host said after the segment.
In Houston, MSNBC reporter Mariana Atencio is surprised to find that Hispanic voters also support Republicans and are opposed to illegal immigration.
Imagine that – Hispanics who followed the law don’t tolerate and promote lawlessness… Democrats are beside themselves…. pic.twitter.com/HEqrxn5Kvl

The reason Atencio was surprised is that liberals are all about identity politics. But, to their dismay, they have found out the voters aren’t. Oh, it worked for many years but eventually, minority voters learned that the Democrats would make promises for the elections and never do anything about it.
Whereas, they see Donald Trump fulfilling promise after promise. He has lowered unemployment of Latinos to the lowest it’s ever been. This came after 8 years of hopelessness under Obama.
