Nezar Hamze is a deputy sheriff in Broward County serving under Sheriff Scott Israel. He is also he is also CEO and Regional Operations Director for the Florida chapter of CAIR.
He has high praise for Sheriff Israel. He brought the sheriff to a mosque and he told his fellow Muslims that Israel was on their side. It would have been nice if Israel had been on the side of the kids in Parkland, Florida, too. But, of course, he wasn’t.
The praise was for Israel’s handling of an embezzlement case preying on Muslim businessmen. That is well and good. he should have done that. But what is very disturbing is that Israel employs the radical Hamze.
He has held rallies for Hamas and gave gun lessons at a radical mosque. So, who is he exactly?
Frontpage Mag has more on the Deputy:
Nezar Hamze is the CEO and Regional Operations Director for the Florida chapter of CAIR or CAIR-Florida. In July 2014, CAIR-Florida co-sponsored a pro-Hamas rally in Downtown Miami, where rally goers shouted, “We are Hamas” and “Let’s go Hamas.” Following the rally, the event organizer, Sofian Abdelaziz Zakkout, wrote, “Thank God, every day we conquer the American Jews like our conquests over the Jews of Israel!” In August 2014, CAIR-Florida Executive Director Hassan Shibly wrote, “Israel and its supporters are enemies of G-d…”
Deputy Hamze also traveled to a Tampa, Florida mosque to perform weapons training, reports Frontpage Mag:
This past weekend [December 2015], CAIR’s Hamze, using his position as a law enforcement officer, traveled to the Tampa, Florida area to perform weapons training at the Daarus Salaam Mosque, also known as the Islamic Society of New Tampa (ISONET), a mosque associated with all three US groups named to UAE’s terror list.
In the last three months [2015] – October, November and December – Daarus Salaam has sponsored events with three designated terrorist organizations, the only three groups to be named terrorist organizations by UAE. And the last of these events was one where mosque goers were taught how to use weapons, while Hamze brandished a gun in each hand, wore a Muslim outfit that resembled a trench coat, and simulated firing at his audience. The mosque referred to the event as ‘Active Shooter Training.’
Maybe if the kids at Parkland had committed a few terrorist acts or raised money for radical terrorist groups, Sheriff Israel would have protected them, too.
