Lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee have unveiled a cache of previously unseen photos and videos from the private Caribbean island owned by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, offering a stark and unsettling look inside the compound at the center of a sprawling abuse investigation.
The released materials show a variety of rooms inside the estate — including bedrooms, a pool area, and a bizarre setup resembling a dentist’s office, complete with a dental chair and a wall lined with masks. In one image, a chalkboard bears cryptic words such as “power,” “deception,” and “plots.” Another shows a landline phone with speed-dial entries labeled with first names and a “NY Office.”
The images and videos were turned over by authorities in the U.S. Virgin Islands and shared publicly by the committee. Officials say the release is part of an ongoing push for transparency related to the island’s role in alleged trafficking and abuse.
Committee leaders argue that these visuals provide critical insight into the environment where crimes are said to have occurred — and they are demanding full disclosure of all remaining files, bank records, communications, and other documents linked to Epstein’s estate and associates.
The files’ release comes under a new law mandating the Justice Department to publish unclassified material related to Epstein by mid-December. With the deadline approaching, lawmakers say these latest releases are just the beginning and vow to continue pressing for accountability and justice for survivors.
