Former assistant Letitia James (D) of New York’s attorney general is suing James and her former chief of staff for allegedly covering up sexual harassment and assault.
According to Fox News, a 33-year-old woman named Sofia Quintanar filed a complaint against Brooklyn fundraiser host Ibrahim Khan on Thursday. She accused Khan of shoving his tongue down her throat after an argument.
After James was suspended for over two months for an alleged assault, she filed suit, claiming he misrepresented to the public where he was.
Despite concerns for her career, Quintanar said she was committed to doing the right thing.
Similarly, CBS New York’s Quintanar is mentioned on the 7th, noting that James wasn’t as forceful in this inquiry as she was while probing former Democratic governor Andrew Cuomo:
After a lengthy investigation, federal and state officials reportedly convicted Cuomo guilty of sexually assaulting current and former state employees, as reported by Breitbart News in 2021.
After James engaged an independent legal firm to investigate, Khan resigned a few weeks later. She subsequently claimed the question proved her suspicions that he had sexually abused a child.
The Attorney General’s Office uses only proven procedures for investigating allegations of wrongdoing. After he had departed, a representative remarked, “The office treats these matters with the highest consideration, and this scenario is no different.”
In 2021, Quintanar moved on from working in Representative Jesse James’ office to join the reelection campaign of Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown. As a result of his achievement, she started making welfare office visits and seeking employment.
Fox claims that Khan also attempted to kiss her on occasion, which made Quintanar suspicious of his motives.
The complaint claims that Khan repeatedly tried to kiss the plaintiff but was often rejected. Fearing that Khan would use his power and connections to ruin her career, Quintanar chose to file a complaint against him at first.
And she feared Khan would insist it was all in good fun. She alleges she was blindsided by the news of his alleged sexual misbehavior with other women.
According to the article, the woman’s “unknown damages” are why she filed suit.
