Newt Gingrich Destroys Juan Williams For Defending Biden

On a recent episode of “Fox News Sunday,” leftist commentator Juan Williams passionately defended President Joe Biden and his troublesome son Hunter, but former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich soon put an end to the discussion.

Williams and Gingrich joined presenter Shannon Bream and the other guests for the Sunday morning show’s roundtable discussion. As soon as Hunter Biden was brought up, tensions rose rapidly.

Williams began by stating the obvious, namely that the younger Biden had issues in several areas of his life, including drugs and sex. Then he said that Joe Biden’s only true offense was that he was attempting to help and protect his kid, even if the circumstance wasn’t perfect.

Hunter Biden is an addict and an alcoholic; this is common knowledge. His history of sex addiction is well-documented. He’s obviously not the type of kid you’d want. But Joe Biden was like a kind parent who was only looking out for his child’s best interests. The comment made by Williams was, “I don’t think anyone will blame him for that.”

However, it pales in comparison to the billions of money that Trump’s son-in-law has received from the Saudis and the countless millions that Trump has made off of his golf courses and hotels. It’s unbelievable,” Williams continued, shifting the focus squarely on Trump’s time as president. Even this week, with the sexual assault case against Trump in the news, parallels with the unrest in New York City seem inevitable. However, Hunter Biden has finally arrived here. Trump may use him as a distraction and a cover from his problems.

However, Gingrich fought back, arguing that the president and other members of the Biden family’s involvement in lucrative international business dealings shouldn’t be so quickly disregarded.

There’s proof. Gingrich said that “Kazakhstan gave him money,” referring to Hunter Biden’s monetary windfall from the widow of the mayor of Moscow. He joined a board he knew nothing about and received funding from Ukraine. The rumor that a Chinese billionaire paid the Bidens $3 million is accurate, Juan; he received a large sum of money from China.

Even if you think it doesn’t matter that the Vice President of the United States is sending his son to China on Air Force Two for business, you have to acknowledge that this is happening. Moreover, you just characterized his son. He’s a drinker and a whore, in your words—” Gingrich continued his spiel.

Once again, Williams raised his voice to exclaim, “Is that an attack on the president?” No, he is not the leader. He’s the little one! The practice of nepotism is legal. It’s not illegal for a president or a prominent family to show partiality.

Continuing the conversation, Bream mentioned that the Trumps and the Bidens had both been accused of partiality. Then he wondered aloud if there was a double standard.

Listen, I think Hunter Biden, Joe’s son, has business dealmaking potential. According to Newt, this indicates the family will be receiving a substantial windfall. Kind is nebulous in definition. No one is disputing Williams’ claim that Kushner received $2 billion, though.

But Gingrich had his doubts. He claimed that no legitimate company would back Hunter Biden based on Williams’s description of him, adding, “They put money into Joe.”
