Obama Sends Out List of 81 Endorsements – The News Is The One He Didn’t Endorse

Barack Obama has decided to endorse 81 Democrats for the midterm elections. That’s not big news. There is one candidate, he did not endorse and that is big news. I do wonder what his motivation for leaving that name off.

The one candidate he did not endorse is the current Democratic darling, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Does he think that he shouldn’t endorse a socialist who will win without his endorsement or is it a case of “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”? It could be jealousy, but I wouldn’t know why. She has already proven that she does not have a grasp on the issues and the only reason she opens her mouth is to put her foot in it.

Also missing from the list? Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who is running against Kevin de Leon in November’s general election.

Obama’s list featured dozens of Democrats entrenched in midterm races around the country — 81, to be exact.

Some of the more prominent figures on the list include Stacey Abrams for governor of Georgia and Gavin Newsom for governor of California. Jacky Rosen, who is running against incumbent Nevada Sen. Dean Heller (R), is also on Obama’s list.

In a statement on Wednesday, Fox News reported, Obama said, “I am proud to endorse such a wide and impressive array of Democratic candidates — leaders as diverse, patriotic, and big-hearted as the America they’re running to represent.”

    Obama said:

“I am confident that, together, they’ll strengthen this country we love by restoring opportunity that’s broadly shared, repairing our alliances and standing in the world, and upholding our fundamental commitment to justice, fairness, responsibility, and the rule of law.”

The good news for Republicans is that Obama has a long history of having his endorsed candidates suffer defeat. In the all important election of 2009 there were four races and Obama made appearances for three of the candidates. The only one that won was the one he didn’t campaign for.
