According to the owner of a property in Texas, the border problem has led to several attempts at burglary.

Despite the best efforts of Border Patrol agents, a group of guys the ranch owner in Texas suspected to be illegal immigrants was able to escape from the footage of their attempted break-in.

Fox News has received a video of a home invasion in Edwards County, Texas, just 50 miles from the border.

According to Fox News, the business owner said the intruders tried to kick in the door and smash it with a piece of wood. Still, they were unsuccessful because of the tens of thousands of dollars worth of security modifications the owner had installed.

According to the shopkeeper, she contacted Border Patrol, but the males had already left by the time they arrived. She reported hearing that the intruders had entered a neighbor’s house.

While the immigration status of the individuals is unknown, villages and ranches along the border have been coping with a significant increase in illegal immigration, including a large number of “getaways.”

After approximately 600,000 getaways in the fiscal year 2022, November saw over 73,000 illegal aliens avoid capture by Border Patrol officials.

That comes amid a migration boom that saw over 2.3 million people try to cross in FY2022. As of now, October and November are doing better than the corresponding months in 2021.

Title 42 public health decree, used to remove hundreds of thousands of migrants at the border, was set to expire last week, causing chaos at the border.

The Supreme Court has temporarily blocked that expiry, maintaining the injunction until spring oral arguments can be held.

The Biden administration has stated that preparations have been made to handle the anticipated increase in migration, which may approach 14,000 migrant contacts each day if the order is finally reversed.
