People In Oregon Having A Hissy Fit Against A Law On Something That You Do Every Day

Oregon was one of only two states that required gas stations to have an attendant pump your gas for you and now that’s out the door!

As of January 1, 2018, mere days ago, that is no longer the case. And wouldn’t you know it! Those liberals are having a hissy fit over it!

Here are a few gems from the Facebook page where it was announced:

“No! Disabled, seniors, people with young children in the car need help. Not to mention getting out of your car with transients around and not feeling safe too. This is a very bad idea. Grrr”

“Not a good idea, there are lots of reason to have an attendant helping, one is they need a job too. Many people are not capable of knowing how to pump gas and the hazards of not doing it correctly. Besides I don’t want to go to work smelling of gas when I get it on my hands or clothes. I agree Very bad idea.”

“I don’t even know HOW to pump gas and I am 62, native Oregonian…..I say NO THANKS! I don’t want to smell like gasoline!”

“I’ve lived in this state all my life and I REFUSE to pump my own gas. I had to do it once in California while visiting my brother and almost died doing it. This a service only qualified people should perform. I will literally park at the pump and wait until someone pumps my gas. I can’t even”

“Does no one consider the cumulative effects of breathing in small amounts of gas over time? Lung cancer rates will skyrocket. Who knows how this will effect other body systems.”

“Here in Oregon we like to do things our way. We don’t care what you do in Texas and everywhere else. You all are just part of the herd mentality.”

    I mean… there’s a lot to choose from. And it’s great!

“REALLY wish ALL of you out of state #Trolls would mind your own … “YOUR” opinion has no merit here. Most of you commenting stuff like “You use the force of the government to make everyone comply ” don’t even know it has been illegal to pump your own gas here for as long as I can remember.  Ya’ll just go eat your cornbread an mind your own state manners and affairs!”
