Piers Morgan Destroys Fla Dem Nikki Fried After Attacking Ron DeSantis

When Nikki Fried, the chairwoman of the Florida Democratic Party, watched Republican Governor Ron DeSantis on the British chat program “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” she blasted him.

In the 2022 Democratic primary, Charlie Crist ran against Fried and lost. Crist, however, was defeated by Republican Ron DeSantis in the 2026 general election. Still, she cited DeSantis’ interview from last Tuesday as evidence that he is making last-ditch efforts to revive his campaign.

The tweet by Fried, which said, “Ron DeSantis retreated to a flipping @piersmorgan interview to try to save his failing campaign,” effectively ended DeSantis’s prospects of becoming president. “Bahahahahahahaa. Hahahahahahahaa. Bahahahahahahah.”

Morgan stated that the state party Fried’s was just defeated in a major election due to the man she was making fun of.

A piece of advice for the Democrats in Florida: don’t bring up your recent electoral defeats. By the end of it all, Morgan had replied to the tweet.

While DeSantis hasn’t formally announced his candidacy for president, he seemed to hint in a recent interview that he could be willing to challenge Joe Biden for the Republican nomination in 2024.

If I were to run for president, I believe Joe Biden would be the candidate with the greatest chance of defeating me. I am well aware of his and Trump’s candidacy for the Republican nomination. The people of this country, I believe, are eager to make progress. This time around, we’ll be more forthright about our suspicion that they want to change the rules. Defending Florida was “very important,” DeSantis said to Morgan.

The fact that DeSantis felt confident he could win the presidency against Biden was not something he disguised from voters.

Morgan penned an opinion article promoting the interview in which he said the governor “has had enough of Trump’s constant insults and is ready to take him on.”
