Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler is moving out of his condo after rioters entered the building and began damaging the place. The rioters graffitied and damaged his building, and tossed a burning pile of newspapers into retail space which belongs to a Black man. There’s no honor among thugs.

Wheeler sent out a letter to the other condo owners saying it is best if he just moved out. Nineteen people were arrested during the raid on his home. He also apologized for the damage done to the building.  He has lived there for about three years.

    Wheeler wrote:

“I want to express my sincere apologies for the damage to our home and the fear that you are experiencing due to my position. It’s unfair to all of you who have no role in politics or in my administration.”

Wheeler has caught a lot of flak for the way he has mismanaged the riots. Under his lack of leadership, the riots have been going on for nearly 100 days. He says he wants the rioters to burn themselves out. They might but by that time they will all have walkers and false teeth.

Last week, President Trump offered him help. He turned him down flat. The very next night a rioter murdered a Trump supporter in cold blood. That blood is now on Wheeler’s hands.

    From The Daily Caller

Wheeler rejected Trump’s offer on Aug. 22 to send federal assistance, according to an official statement.

“We don’t need your politics of division and demagoguery. Portlanders are onto you. We have already seen your reckless disregard for human life in your bumbling response to the COVID pandemic. And we know you’ve reached the conclusion that images of violence or vandalism are your only ticket to reelection,” the mayor’s Aug. 28 statement read.
