In a horrific event that took place in Lakewood, Colorado, a bikini-clad woman verbally attacked a Latino family on the Fourth of July for hosting a pool party.
A member of the family filmed the incident and uploaded it to TikTok. A blonde woman in sunglasses and a swimsuit with leopard print can be seen hurling racial obscenities at the family.
You throw a raucous Mexican pool party. Garbage, she shouted on the clip.
The woman tried to grab the phone when she found out she was being videotaped, saying she didn’t want to be caught on camera. She slapped the phone out of the person’s hand as she drew closer to the camera.
The scene shifts to the woman seated on a lounge chair, where she continues her quarrel with her family. Another man is close, blocking her path to the family by holding up his phone.
She kept on insulting me, calling me names and yelling, “You’re nasty!” All of you stink,” she said, gesturing at the people in the room.
While the woman continued her vicious outburst, the male forcefully restrained her to the chair. She screamed at an unidentified person to get out of the pool and return to Denver at one point.
When compared to Lakewood, which has 82% white residents, Denver has a far larger Hispanic and Latino population (at roughly 29%).
The origin of the conflict between the woman and her in-laws is unknown.
The video was uploaded to TikTok by a user who said the family was having a BBQ with their children present. More than 150,000 people have watched the clip.
The TikTok user was contacted by the New York Post for comment, but the paper heard nothing back.
Finally, the video shows three police officers chatting with the couple by the pool. No criminal charges were brought, as confirmed by the Lakewood Police Department.
The fight took place at the Alta Green Mountain apartments about 11 miles west of Denver. When The New York Post reached out to the building’s administration for comment, they did not provide one.
