In a recent podcast episode, Joe Rogan ripped at “woke” university instructors who advocate unhealthy lives.
The comment was made by Rogan on the “More Plates More Dates” YouTube channel in discussion with Derek. Derek was invited to speak after breaking the shocking story about a famous figure in the fitness industry who had lied about using steroids last week.
Derek referenced a study by Canadian researchers at the University of British Columbia that concluded calorie counting was unnecessary for maintaining health.
The article presented four arguments against keeping calorie records:
You may prevent overeating the things you crave by focusing on anything else.
You can never again eat on the spur of the moment when you have this sickness.
Because of this misconception, many avoid foods high in calories.
It may be distressing to those who suffer from or have a history of eating problems.
Rogan has stated that fat professors should “f*** off” since they aren’t contributing anything positive to the classroom.
Rogan reflected on a video where a young, progressive female professor said that choosing to forego certain meals was “fatphobic” and “not backed by science.”
“the most non-resilient humans probably known to man,” Rogan said, “where every single micro-aggression, every single thing that may trigger you, all things are erased, and you are just raw and vulnerable.”
To paraphrase Rogan, “We’ll protect you in this academic institution and spit you out into the market, where you will infect businesses with this attitude.”
It’s incredible, Derek said, how much more people now appreciate convenience than they used to. That’s why I say, “Just, like, the lifestyle and encouragement to be a sedentary piece of s*** who feels humiliated and embarrassed by practically anything; none of this is conducive to masculinity.”
Fitness expert Brian “Liver King” Johnson was exposed by Derek for lying about his steroid use in the same episode in which Rogan accused Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson of using steroids.
A statement made by Joe Rogan on one of his shows was, “The Rock should come clean right now.” Perhaps his best action would be to answer “Liver King” with a video response. The Rock has been exposed as a liar. This is why a talk is essential. Unless he’s lying through his teeth, he’s as dirty as a dog. Not! Is The Rock, at 50 years old, really as massive as he once was? At 50, he’s a different person than he was at 30.
You owe it to your supporters,” Rogan added. Don’t bother explaining if you don’t want to. You owe it to your audience, to be honest, if you bring it up for discussion, as I have done here. There’s nothing wrong with using synthetic hormones, in my opinion.
