Recently unsealed federal court documents have named over 150 of the acquaintances of the late, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, some of whom are already well-known. The materials became public after a December Manhattan federal judge Loretta Pleska’s decision.
The unsealing of these documents boosted traffic to the hosting website and caused a momentary crash. The documents also accuse Epstein and mention former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, neither of whom is facing any criminal charges.
The allusion to Trump in the documents is rather innocuous; it comes from an unofficial remark Epstein made when visiting Trump’s property in Atlantic City. Clinton’s remark is even more concerning; a victim of Epstein, Johanna Sjoberg, claims that Epstein said, “Clinton likes them young,” referring to girls.
Sjoberg stated in her testimony that she had been forced to perform “sex stuff” during massages by Epstein and Maxwell, but she never saw Trump or Clinton at Epstein’s island. She went on to say that she had been shown to Prince Andrew of Britain, who had touched her inappropriately.
Another witness claimed to have encountered Michael Jackson at Epstein’s Palm Beach home. The Epstein Virginia Roberts Giuffre victim testified that she had an affair with Thomas Pritzker, the rich Executive Chairman of Hyatt Hotels and cousin of Governor J.B. Pritzker (D-IL). Giuffre continued, saying Epstein had coerced her into having sex with the billionaire hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin and Prince Andrew.
A witness also said that they had dinner at Epstein’s home with magician David Copperfield, who questioned if girls were paid to sext other girls after impressing them with magic tricks.
Some people’s identities remain undisclosed either because they were minors at the time of Epstein’s molestation or because disclosing their identities might expose them to physical harm in their own countries.
This ongoing story keeps expanding as new information comes to light from the publicly available sources, shedding light on Epstein’s extensive network and the individuals who were a part of it.
