Media Matters produced a tape from years ago when he was on with Bubba the Love Sponge. He made some off-color comments and Media Matters jumped all over it. It’s not exactly a cerebral show and you should be given a little leeway for what he said.
But, to Carlson’s credit, he refused to apologize and then he struck back at Media Matters. He pointed ut that their political advocacy disqualifies them from the tax exempt status they now enjoy. The IRS has been alternated of this violation. Now, let’s see if they do anything with it.

Tucker brought on former White House Counsel C. Boyden Gray to discuss the scandalous hate website Media Matters for America.
According to C. Boyden Gray Media Matters does not pay taxes despite the organization’s open politicking for Democrats and Hillary Clinton.
This is against the rules.
There are a lot of liberal advocacy sites that are incorrectly tax-free, but when it came to non-advocacy conservative groups, they blocked them from tax-free status.
