Tyler Robinson, arrested for the assassination of Charlie Kirk, is reported to have had an active online persona known as “craftin247.” Close to his arrest, digital records allegedly show that he played a game titled Furry Shades of Gay, which markets itself as a dating simulator involving queer relationships, humor, and adult-oriented content.
Online activity traced to “craftin247” also includes activity on FurAffinity.net, a platform popular in the furry subculture. Among the content Robinson interacted with are works by artists who create explicit anthropomorphic character art. One such creator, RedRusker, reportedly admitted to producing drawings involving underage‐like characters.
Investigators also found a striking detail at the crime scene: a bullet casing from the rifle used in the Kirk shooting engraved with a meme phrase, “Notices, bulge, OwO what’s this?”—a phrase common in niche online communities and meme culture.
Robinson lived with a partner, Lance Twiggs, who is transgender. Twiggs is cooperating with the investigation, providing messages and communications that may shed light on Robinson’s mindset and influences.
While law enforcement has not confirmed a definitive motive, the combination of meme references, online subculture engagement, and personal relationships has become part of the broader investigation into Robinson’s possible ideological motives.
