Tyler Robinson, accused of killing activist Charlie Kirk, is under investigation amid growing evidence and witness cooperation. Among those assisting authorities is his roommate—also his romantic partner—who is transitioning from male to female.
According to officials, the partner had no prior knowledge of the alleged plan to harm Kirk. However, they have provided text messages and other communications that appear to connect Robinson to planning and executing the attack. These exchanges include a confession in which Robinson allegedly tells them about possessing a rifle and being involved in the shooting.
Robinson, 22, faces multiple criminal charges, including aggravated murder. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. Law enforcement continues to gather evidence, including forensic items such as the weapon and bullet casings, as the motive—political, ideological, or otherwise—is still being examined.
