Here on the tail end of the Weinstein scandal that has shaken Hollyweird to its core, five women have stepped forward and made claims of sexual abuse against Roman Polanski.
And at the times of the attacks, the ages range from 9 to 16 years of age.
In case you’ve been living in a hole the last few decades, Polanski was arrested and charged with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in 1977, which saw him eventually pled guilty to a charge of statutory rape. The director was released from prison after several just over a month and was put on probation.
A judge decided that wasn’t good enough and decided to reject the plea bargain, which made Polanski flee the country.

FIVE more women have come forward to accuse convicted child rapist Roman Polanski of sexual abuse, according to the founder of a website called imetpolanski.com.
If verified this would take the total number of women who say they have been raped or sexually abused by the disgraced movie director to 10.
Matan Uziel, from the Real Women Real Stories campaign group which set up the website just days ago, said that five new accusers have been in touch with harrowing and “believable” stories about Polanski, 84, who is still wanted by US authorities over the rape of a 13-year-old girl.
The accusers, currently only named as “Jane Does” were aged between 9 and 16 when the alleged assaults took place between 1969 and 1976.

These women are still all only being referred to as “Jane Doe” but their stories follow a shockingly familiar pattern for the director. The first of the new accusers recalls being only 15 years old when she attended a dinner party with her father where they met Polanski. According to her account, he molested her under the table. Also attending the party were Jack Nicholson and Anjelica Huston (who he was dating at the time). That brings up an obvious question.
The stories of the other women are just as bad, particularly when you consider that two of them were children aged 9 and 10 when the alleged assaults took place. The story of the ten-year-old is particularly tragic since it not only involved Polanski allegedly photographing her naked on a beach, but she believes that her mother facilitated the meeting.
