Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, 81, has been hospitalized in New Hampshire after sustaining injuries in a car accident. The crash occurred shortly after Giuliani pulled over to assist a woman involved in a domestic violence incident and remained on the scene until law enforcement arrived.

According to his spokesperson, Giuliani suffered a fractured thoracic vertebra, along with multiple cuts and bruises to his left arm and lower leg. He was treated at a local trauma center, where his condition was assessed as serious but non-life-threatening. Also treated were the driver of his vehicle and the young woman who rear-ended them—but thankfully, none of the injuries were reported as critical.

Giuliani is currently in good spirits and recovering well, expected to remain in the hospital for a few more days before being discharged with a brace to support his back. His care is supervised by his business partner and nurse practitioner, ensuring he receives the medical attention he needs during recovery.
