A SAS ( Special Air Service) dog is being credited with saving the lives of six British Special Forces fighters in Syria. The incident happened two months ago but was just now declassified. The si soldiers were on patrol and decided to take their dog along and it’s a good thing they did. They found themselves in a 360 ambush with nowhere to run except a building with 4 terrorists inside.
His handler took his muzzle off and sent him into the building. They heard a scream and soon all the shooting had stopped. When they got inside the building and saw what the dog had done, they were amazed. They found one terrorist dead with his throat ripped out and the dog had subdued three others with guns.
“When the team entered the building they saw the dog standing over a dead gunman,” the source reported.
“His throat had been torn out and he had bled to death. There was also a lump of human flesh in one corner and a series of blood trails leading out of the back of the building.
“The dog was virtually uninjured. The SAS were able to consolidate their defensive position and eventually break away from the battle without taking any casualties.”
Two other jihadis were subdued and another six fled. The SAS commander apparently reported this was all due to the dog.
The entire contingent of soldiers agreed that the dog had saved their lives. A dog may be man’s best friend but they sure are hell on terrorists. That must be one fearless and fearsome dog. Something tells me he will be going on a lot of patrols from now on. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if that dog gets a medal for valor. It would be well deserved.
