A woman in Saudi Arabia was arrested after it was revealed she wore “suggestive clothing” while walking through Ushayqir, an ancient fort. And what was that suggestive clothing? It was a mini skirt, people…
The Twitterverse erupted on both sides with some showing support for the woman in question and others “upset” at how she violated the code that “all other Saudi women follow”.
“Just like we call on people to respect the laws of countries they travel to, people must also respect the laws of this country,” Saudi writer Ibrahim al-Munayif tweeted.

As written for The Daily Caller by Grace Carr:
A Saudi woman was arrested by Riyadh police after she sent out a video of herself wearing a crop top and mini skirt Tuesday.
The woman was arrested for wearing “suggestive clothing” while walking through the ancient fort “Ushayqir,” according to Saudi state television station Al Ekhbariya.
The woman violated Islamic dress that is strictly enforced in Saudi Arabia, dictating that women wear a full cloak and a hijab, The Washington Post reported Tuesday. Other provinces require that women fully cover everything but their eyes with a niqab.
