Tom Sizemore, star of “Saving Private Ryan,” has a brain aneurysm and is in serious condition.

According to Fox News Digital, Tom Sizemore, who is widely recognized for his portrayal as Mike Horvath in “Saving Private Ryan,” is currently in critical condition.

The actor’s spokesperson confirms he had a brain aneurysm at home and is now in the intensive care unit.

‘He’s in the hospital,’ Charles Lago confirmed to Fox News Digital. “His family and friends are aware of this and hoping for the best. Considering his current health (critical), it would be inappropriate to make any predictions about his future wellbeing.”

Native of Detroit, Michigan, 61-year-old Sizemore has been in films and TV series including “Born on the Fourth of July” (costarring Tom Cruise) and “Pearl Harbor” (with Ben Affleck).

Currently, IMDb has 33 upcoming projects for the actor.

He has done a great deal more than only write and produce.

Sizemore has been open about his life, including his drug usage, legal troubles, and his marriage to actress Maeve Quinlan from 1996 until 1999.

In an interview for Fox News Digital from 2021, Sizemore discussed his motivation to get clean “My first sober attempt was in 1991… While it eventually made news throughout the world, I was actively working to prevent it at the time. This problem has been bothering me for a long time. I would go for long periods without drinking, and then I would relapse.”

At some point in his life, he knew he had to walk away. I’m still working my steps and going to meetings,” he stated. “Despite my best efforts, I was unable to keep my superior demeanor. If I wanted to live to a ripe old age, I realized I had to give up smoking. Yet, I knew I had to accept the conclusion if I wanted to be around to watch my kids grow up.”

His words were, “It seems to have held over for the time being.” Every day I must still count my stock and report for duty.

His ex-girlfriend Janelle McIntire is the mother of his two children, Jagger and Jayden Sizemore.
