Ralphie as Adult: Only I didn’t say “Fudge.” I said THE word, the big one, the queen-mother of dirty words, the “F-dash-dash-dash” word!
Zack Ward, the awesomely hilarious guy who played bully Scut Farkus in the amazing and classic film A Christmas Story, recently revealed how much money he still makes from his role and what he does with the money.
“You’re going to be so disappointed,” he told PageSix, “It’s basically about $1,800 every two years … and it comes in in Canadian money because we shot in Canada.”
Ward was just 13 when he played in the iconic film and told the gossip site that he gives it to his money for a rainy day.
“So many people come up to me and are like, ‘You got your ass kicked by Ralphie,’ and it makes them so happy,” he said. “I think they’re connecting to themselves as that little kid who had a bully and when they saw Scut Farkus get beaten up, they were just like, ‘Yeah!’ They greet me with a lot of love. It’s usually very kind.”
That’s not all… when people recognize him for the role (though he’s still an actor and has done some really interesting work over the years) he still gets hugs and even free beer!
“It’s incredible to be a part of something that is lightning in a bottle like that,” he told us.
Oh man THAT takes me back! One of it’s best scenes. Or THAT BUNNY OUTFIT!
Ralphie as Adult: Immediately, my feet began to sweat as those two fluffy little bunnies with a blue button eye stared sappily up at me.
Mother: Come down so I can see you better.
Ralphie as Adult: I just hope Flick would never spot them as a word of this humiliation could make easier in life at Warren G. Harding School a variatable Hell.
Mr. Parker: He looks like a deranged Easter Bunny.
Mother: He does not!
Mr. Parker: He does too, he looks like a pink nightmare!
I love the Christmas season!
