In 1971, Klaus Schwab started the World Economic Forum (WEF) with a modest investment of $6,000, evolving it from a small academic symposium into a powerhouse gathering with annual revenues of $390 million. The WEF, located in the Swiss town of Davos, has become a hub where the world’s wealthiest and most influential figures converge to shape global policies and strategies.

The WEF’s elite corporate membership, including giants like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Google, Comcast, and Pfizer, boasts a combined market capitalization exceeding $10 trillion. This figure doubles when including BlackRock, the $10 trillion-asset manager led by WEF board member Larry Fink. With financial resources surpassing the GDP of nearly every nation except the United States, the WEF wields immense influence over global affairs.

The book “Controligarchs” delves into the WEF’s far-reaching impact, revealing plans that extend beyond financial dominance to encompass control over energy, food, health, personal information, and technology sectors. Key agenda items include the implementation of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), digital IDs, climate change initiatives, and advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and transhumanism.

The WEF’s vision of a “Great Reset,” particularly highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic, underscores its ambition to reshape the global landscape. This includes leveraging control over critical industries and infrastructure, aligning with influential entities like the United Nations (UN), the World Bank, and the World Health Organization (WHO).

One of the WEF’s initiatives involves CBDCs, which, according to the Bank of International Settlements, provide comprehensive control over monetary systems. The Atlantic Council recently noted the sustained interest in CBDCs, seen as a convenient tool for cross-border transactions, particularly for migrants.

In the realm of energy, the WEF champions a shift towards greener solutions, advocating for measures like banning gas vehicles, limiting thermostat usage, and encouraging sustainable travel. This aligns with initiatives by leaders such as California Governor Gavin Newsom, who stresses sacrifices for the greater good.

Food security and sustainability are also on the WEF’s agenda, with a focus on lab-grown meats, genetically modified seeds, and insect-based proteins. Companies like Bayer-Monsanto, Beyond Meats, and Impossible Foods, backed by investors like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, are at the forefront of these changes.

In healthcare, the WEF and its partners, including the Gates Foundation, are pushing for mandatory digital ID systems linked to medical records. The goal is to monitor and enforce health policies more effectively, a concept brought into sharp focus with the recent COVID-19 vaccine passports.

The WEF’s plans extend to the technological domain, with a focus on AI and transhumanism. Visionaries like Yuval Noah Harari advocate for extensive biometric surveillance and the potential for human body enhancements, pointing towards a future where technology and biology merge.

“Controligarchs” uncovers the WEF’s ambitious and often controversial plans, encompassing various sectors from housing and education to information control. The WEF’s strategies, as depicted in the book, reveal a concerted effort to reshape not just economies, but the very fabric of society and human existence.
