The Secret Service has announced they’re aware of the death threats made by members of the domestic terrorist group known as Antifa. They’re running through the leads and videos now.
Because of their propensity for violence, any threats they make must be taken seriously. Furthermore, action taken must go far beyond a warning. The threats were made in Charlottesville, Virginia and in Washington D.C.
Although the Secret Service acknowledged they’re investigating, they refused to say which incidents they are probing. Hopefully, it’s all of them, as I’m sure it is. They usually have a zero tolerance for threats on a president’s life.
The Secret Service does not “comment on protective intelligence investigations,” the spokesman said, explaining the agency “investigates all threats against the president.”
What prompted the review?
The confirmation comes after the Daily Caller captured on video multiple people outright saying they want to physically harm or murder the president during demonstrations in the nation’s capital on Sunday.
Various protesters told the DC’s, Benny Johnson:
- “We gotta take [Trump] down. I would murder him for the people.”
- “We have to do him like [Former Libyan President Muammar] Gaddafi.”
- “If I get a chance to f*** him up I would.”

The Secret Service was founded by Allan Pinkerton in the 1850’s. After foiling what they claimed was a plot to kill Abraham Lincoln, he hired them as his personal bodyguards. They have been protecting presidents ever since.
They were later spun into a government agency charged with the protection of our presidents and their families, among other duties. But they are best known for their black suits, sunglasses and their fingers holding their earpieces from falling out.
