The U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) is poised to deliver a pivotal decision on abortion, particularly concerning the abortion drug mifepristone, coinciding with the upcoming presidential election. This situation is the focus of a new book, “Controligarchs: Exposing the Billionaire Class, Their Secret Deals, and the Globalist Plot to Dominate Your Life,” which reveals undisclosed details about the financial interests behind abortion drugs and contraceptives.

The book’s release aligns with recent developments in the abortion rights movement. Notable wins include a ballot measure in Ohio, the re-election of Kentucky’s Democratic governor on a pro-abortion platform, and a Pennsylvania Supreme Court victory for a Democrat who vowed to defend abortion rights. These events have prompted initiatives for similar measures in key swing states like Arizona, Florida, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

“Controligarchs” delves into the secretive financial dealings of billionaires like George Soros and Warren Buffett in the abortion sector, particularly regarding the controversial drug RU-486, or mifepristone. The book uncovers the drug’s history, detailing its development and introduction to the market, facilitated by agreements between the Rockefeller Foundation and Bill Clinton’s administration.

Significant events in the book include the Alliance Defending Freedom’s lawsuit against the FDA over its approval of mifepristone and a Texas district court ruling against the FDA’s sanction of the drug. President Biden’s administration and the drug manufacturer have appealed to SCOTUS to overturn the lower court’s decision limiting mifepristone access.

The book highlights mifepristone’s controversial origins, tracing back to its development by Hoechst AG, a German pharmaceutical giant, and the Rockefeller Foundation’s Population Council. Following Clinton’s executive orders in 1993 to broaden abortion access, Hoechst and the Population Council collaborated to bring mifepristone to the U.S. market. The book also addresses the historical ties of Hoechst’s predecessor company, I.G. Farben, to Nazi Germany.

The Rockefeller Foundation, which has faced criticism for its past eugenics connections, officially distanced itself from this history in 2021. In the 1990s, Hoechst transferred RU-486’s patent rights to the Population Council, which then licensed them to Danco Laboratories, a Cayman Islands-based company backed by Soros, Buffett, and other billionaires.

The book, authored by Seamus Bruner, Director of Research at Peter Schweizer’s Government Accountability Institute (GAI), also examines the increasing prevalence of drug-induced abortions in the U.S. and raises concerns about their safety compared to surgical procedures.

With SCOTUS expected to rule on mifepristone in the coming months, “Controligarchs” provides a timely and critical examination of the hidden financial and political machinations behind one of the most debated issues in American society.
