Another “insurrection” has been initiated by left-wing radicals in a state capital. On Tuesday, they disrupted a session of the Texas state senate in Austin by occupying the gallery and remaining there until police removed them.
The Texas Tribune, a liberal newspaper, wrote:
On Tuesday, Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan swiftly ejected the public from the chamber during a heated debate on a measure that would prohibit transition-related treatment for children, which was attended by LGBTQ Texans and parents of transgender children.
When opponents began yelling and rolling out banners in favor of trans children while the House was discussing Senate Bill 14, Phelan ordered the state police to empty the venue. Opponents of the measure were booed out of the room as supporters began screaming, “Trans rights are human rights.”
Other raucous demonstrations have been applauded by President Joe Biden and other Democrats. The so-called “Tennessee Three,” three Democrats who joined demonstrators in disrupting the Tennessee legislature to push for gun regulation, were recently invited to the White House. Two of the three were expelled from the legislature as a result, but were reinstated subsequently. A transgender person fired fire on a crowd, sparking the demonstration. No one from the police department or the families of the victims has been invited to the White House as of yet. Another “insurrection” in Montana last week was similarly motivated by transgender rights activists.
Biden and the Democrats have labeled the fight on January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol as a “insurrection,” despite the fact that majority of those detained were just charged with “impeding an official proceeding” of Congress.
