An unenrolled female individual, aged 18, was shot and killed early on Sunday morning on the campus of Delaware State University in a tragic incident. Delaware Online cites a statement from the Delaware State University Student Government Association asstating that at approximately 1:40 a.m., campus police discovered the young woman outside a dormitory with a gunshot wound.
At Bayhealth Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased, the victim was dispatched immediately. As investigations continue, neither the woman’s identity nor any suspects have been identified.
