Gen Michael Flynn’s lawyer is now not only saying the her client, Gen Flynn was framed but she is laying a good portion of the blame on the previous occupant of the Oval Office. The Obama/Biden administration was deeply involved in the frame up as they held meetings in the White House to decide the best way to do it. As more documents are declassified we are better able to tell who the players in the scandal are and both Obama and Biden were in on the meetings.

    Powell said:

“These agents specifically schemed and planned with each other how to not tip him off, that he was even the person being investigated.”

“So they kept him relaxed and unguarded deliberately as part of their effort to set him up and frame him.”

Recently released information shows that Obama knew about Flynn’s phone call to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. A fact that surprised Sally Yates. At that meeting, Obama asked Yates and James Comey to stay behind. He asked them if he should be treating Flynn any differently. Which is suurprising since Obama’s people were contacting foreign officials in advance of the inauguration like every presidential staff does.

    From Fox News

“The whole thing was orchestrated and set up within the FBI, [former Director of National Intelligence James] Clapper, [Former CIA Director John] Brennan, and in the Oval Office meeting that day with President Obama,” Powell said.

When asked if she believes that Flynn was the victim of a plot that went all the way up to Obama, Powell said, “Absolutely.”

As far as whether anyone will face charges over this, and, if so, who, Powell simply said it will be up to Attorney General Bill Barr and Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, who has been investigating the origins of the Russia probe.

Powell said she believes the judge will sign off on Flynn’s charges being dismissed as soon as Monday.
