Spy Agencies Have Agreed to Fully Cooperate With Investigation Into Attempted Trump Coup

Usually, I don’t believe that anyone should investigate themselves, but this time I will make an exception. The various spy agencies have agreed to cooperate with AG Bill Barr’s investigation into how the Russia investigation came to be.

The reason I make the exception is that it wasn’t the agencies who were corrupt, it was their leaders who have all been fired or quit and those who have pledged cooperation are a completely different breed. Dan Coats, the Director of National Intelligence has pledged that all agencies will comply with Barr’s wishes with few exceptions for national security being kept secret.

    From Fox News

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats says the nation’s spy agencies will provide the Justice Department all appropriate information for its review of intelligence activities related to Russian interference in the 2016 election.

President Donald Trump claims his campaign was the victim of “spying” and has given Attorney General William Barr full authority to publicly disclose still-secret information collected during the investigation.

Some former intelligence officials and Democrats worry that Barr will cherry-pick intelligence to paint a misleading picture about the roots of the probe.

In a statement released Friday, Coats said he’s confident that Barr will work with “long-established standards to protect highly sensitive, classified information that, if publicly released,” would put U.S. national security at risk.

The current investigation is about corruption and abuse of power. Rep Mark Meadows told Sean Hannity that what people will learn from the declassified documents will curl their hair. Club Fed at Leavenworth Prison is about to get a large number of reservations, each of which is richly deserved.
