In a disturbing incident at Pennbrook Middle School in North Wales, Pennsylvania, a 13-year-old girl was accused of brutally attacking a classmate with a metal Stanley cup, resulting in severe injuries. The incident unfolded in the school’s cafeteria during lunchtime, leaving students and parents shocked and traumatized.

Eyewitnesses, including a student named Emily, described a chaotic scene where the attacker, without provocation, began hitting the 12-year-old victim in the head with the cup. Emily recounted the horror of hearing screams and seeing the victim with blood dripping down her face as she was rushed out of the cafeteria.

The attack reportedly began around 1:20 p.m., with the assailant approaching the victim from behind and striking her repeatedly. A security guard and a teacher intervened swiftly, but not before the victim suffered significant injuries, requiring staples in her head and ongoing monitoring for a concussion.

Parents expressed their outrage and concern at a subsequent school board meeting, criticizing the school administration for not acting on prior warnings. Several parents and students had reported concerns about the attacker earlier in the week, noting that she had allegedly made threats and even had a “hit list” of students she wanted to target.

The school was placed on lockdown for eight minutes as police and emergency responders attended the scene. The community was further alarmed by revelations that the accused had only been a student at the school for two days, transferring in just before the incident.

Superintendent Todd Bauer addressed the community during the board meeting, expressing his dismay over the event and reassuring parents that the administration was investigating the lead-up to the incident and working closely with law enforcement to prevent such occurrences in the future.

The incident has raised significant questions about school safety protocols, the effectiveness of handling student threats, and the broader impact of such violence on the student body and community.
