In a recent interview with Tara Reade, she told The Intercept that her mother called in to the Larry King Show about Biden’s sexual assault. Armed with that information it was found that a woman from Reade’s mother’s hometown called Larry King and she told him that her daughter was having a problem with a prominent US Senator.
That phone call was from 1993, the same year Reade claims Joe Biden sexually assaulted her. Now, the recording of that call has been found and it aligns with Reade’s story. How will Biden and the Democrats spin this one?

Now, compare the proof that Reade has opposed to Kavanaugh’s accusers and it’s a slam dunk in Reade’s favor. What do the Democrats do now? Unless they accuse Reade of lying back in 1993, they really have nothing to say. There are a lot of Democrats who would jump at the chance to replace Biden on the Democratic ticket.
If they do, they will destroy the Gloria Allred playbook of finding bogus allegations against the Republican. If the Democrats keep Biden on the ticket, they will have to have accusers with credibility and none have ever been found. And the two with somewhat credible stories both admit sex was consensual if it even happened.
- New evidence lends credibility to 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden’s accuser Tara Reade’s claim that she told her deceased mother about the alleged assault.
- Reade accused the then-senator of kissing her, touching her and penetrating her with his fingers without her consent in 1993.
- A 1993 transcript obtained by The Intercept showed that a caller from Reade’s mother’s California city mentioned on “Larry King Live” that her daughter had problems with a “prominent senator” in Washington.
- The Media Research Center also uncovered the video of the August 11, 1993 edition of CNN’s “Larry King Live” program Friday.
- Reade told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the voice in the video is her mother’s and that “hearing her voice made me cry.”
Reade reminded the DCNF that she had told reporters that her mother called the Larry King show about her alleged assault.
“I just heard audio, my mother died and hearing her voice made me cry. She was such a good mom and always watching out for me even now,” she said, adding that the video proves what she has been saying: “that I was forced out and wanted to come forward in 1993.”
Reade worked as a Senate staffer for Biden in 1993 and has accused the then-senator of kissing her, touching her and penetrating her with his fingers without her consent. The Biden campaign has denied the assault and said it “absolutely did not happen.”
The Biden accuser has told multiple news outlets that she told her mother, who died in 2016, about the alleged assault. Reade had previously said that her mother called into a CNN show and referenced Reade’s troubles on Capitol Hill.
NEW: Tara Reade told mer her mother called the Larry King Live show in the ’90s and discussed her daughter’s problems with Biden’s office, referring to him only as a “prominent senator.”
