A heart-stopping scene unfolded at Hersheypark on Saturday evening when a young boy, separated from his parents, ventured into a fenced-off monorail area and began walking along the elevated track, nearly 100 feet above ground.
Though barriers were in place to secure the ride, the boy managed to enter the station and spent about 20 minutes wandering on the track. Nearby visitors were stunned but swiftly sprang into action—waving, directing him toward a safe spot, and dialing for help.
In a dramatic turn, one courageous guest climbed onto the monorail track and pulled the child to safety. Within minutes, park staff arrived and the boy was safely reunited with his family.
Park operators praised the quick thinking of both staff and visitors, reaffirming their dedication to maintaining visitor safety—even in unexpected moments like this.
