A Latino security guard, 33 years old, opened fire at the Allen Premium Outlets in Texas, killing at least eight people and injuring six more.

Since it is against Daily Wire’s policy to promote mass killers, the suspect’s identity will not be published. A gun, a pistol, and other military equipment were reportedly found in the suspect’s car.

The suspect’s parents were visited by FBI agents on Saturday night in Dallas’s northeastern police district. Seek the counsel of a family speaker in your area.

Authorities believe the guy has been hiding out at a motel after many sightings of a gray Dodge Charger.

According to CBS News correspondent J.D. Miles, the man “had no serious criminal record and was working as a security guard.”

The sheriff of Texas’s Collin County reported several fatalities, including young children. The alleged gunman’s body was discovered at the scene of the crime. Texas law enforcement received support from the FBI and the Department of Public Safety in the state of Texas.

Nine people, ages 5 to 61, were taken by the Allen PD to the hospital. Officials have said they think the shooter acted alone. in 3:36 p.m. local time, a police officer who was in the mall for another reason heard gunfire. Before calling for help, the cop “neutralized” the criminal.

Allen Premium Outlets, roughly 25 miles north of Dallas, is home to about 120 retailers.

In a statement, Republican Governor Greg Abbott of Texas mentioned his meeting with Allen’s mayor and the head of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

During a press conference, Abbott said, “our hearts are with the people of Allen, Texas tonight as they deal with this unimaginable tragedy.” I’ve had several conversations with state and local government leaders like Fulk and DPS Director McCraw. Police, including the Texas Rangers and the Texas Department of Public Safety, have been notified and are on their way.
