In a candid revelation on the “Pardon My Take” podcast by Barstool Sports, Tiffany Gomas, the Texan who became an internet sensation following a heated episode on an American Airlines flight, demystified the event that had previously left the public bewildered.

During the Friday session, Gomas recounted the turbulent encounter that unfolded on July 2nd aboard the aircraft prior to departure. Her emotional reaction had been a topic of rampant speculation online, with amateur sleuths proposing various explanations from the banal to the bizarre.

The incident, which was captured on video and subsequently made rounds on the internet, showed an agitated Gomas pacing down the aisle and exclaiming in defiance to the cabin crew and fellow passengers about the legitimacy of an individual on the plane. Her words, now famously quoted but until now never clarified, were: “I don’t give two f—s, but I am telling you right now, that motherf—– back there is not real.”

Following an apologetic post in August about her emotional display, Gomas shed light on the situation to the podcast hosts, known as “Big Cat” and “PFT Commenter.” She attributed her outburst to a conflict with another passenger, describing how the situation quickly escalated beyond her control.

Gomas expressed discomfort in revisiting the episode, which she described as “cringe” and “mortifying.” Despite the widespread attention her meltdown received, viewed by over 450 million, she found some solace in the fact that many did not recognize her from the viral clip.

The hosts probed further into her notorious remark concerning the authenticity of a fellow traveler. They queried whether the outburst pointed to some extraordinary sighting. Gomas dismissed this notion, clarifying it was merely a figure of speech, a fragment from the heated exchange.

She was reticent when pressed for the argument’s origin, providing scant details other than it stemmed from switching her preferred aisle seat to a middle one, an act that evidently upset the balance.

Gomas preferred to leave the incident in the past, hinting at unresolved issues and a desire to move beyond the negative energy of that day. Her recounting on the podcast put to rest many of the wild theories and closed a chapter on the viral saga that had captured the public’s imagination.
