In a shocking incident captured on TikTok, a user who shared a video exposing a Colorado woman’s racist remarks towards a Latino family is now facing denial and calls for the woman’s eviction.
Jada Gallardo, the uploader of the original video, displayed Blair Featherman’s outburst at the family, during which she directed derogatory insults such as “trash” and “low-class slime” towards them. Featherman went as far as slapping a 13-year-old girl’s phone and attempting to seize it to prevent further recording.
Featherman has since disputed the video’s authenticity, claiming it was edited in a misleading manner and asserting that she herself was subjected to verbal abuse from the family. However, Gallardo has refuted Featherman’s allegations of editing and maintained that it accurately portrays the events, with Featherman being the instigator.
According to Gallardo’s account, Featherman displayed aggressive behavior at the pool, acting in a “belligerently crazy” manner. She ridiculed the family for their supposed lack of knowledge about the luxury brand Hermes. Featherman’s agitation escalated when she discovered that Gallardo and her boyfriend were not residents of the upscale building.
Gallardo further revealed that Featherman engaged in a physical altercation with another individual at the pool, resulting in a clump of hair being left on the floor. Given Featherman’s actions, Gallardo firmly believes that she should be evicted from the complex.
Melanie Rangel-Olmedo, another witness present at the scene, supported Gallardo’s narrative and attested to Featherman’s group constantly apologizing for her behavior. In fact, one concerned father went as far as driving his daughters home to protect them from Featherman’s offensive remarks.
The incident has stirred widespread outrage, prompting demands for accountability. As of now, the apartment complex has not issued any official statements regarding the matter, leaving many eagerly awaiting their response.
