The “Squad,” House Democrats, should be expelled, according to South Carolina Republican presidential candidate Senator Tim Scott’s op-ed. His list included Rashida Tlaib, Pramila Jayapal, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Representative Tlaib’s social media posts blaming Israel for a Gaza hospital assault, even though intelligence experts suggested it was likely a botched rocket launch by Hamas, were referenced by Senator Scott. He chastised Tlaib for repeating her views at a pro-Hamas rally in D.C.

Rep. Jayapal and Rep. Omar’s anti-Semitic remarks were also referenced by Scott. He suggested Congress should remove them for these actions.

The senator also noted Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s 2021 criticism of Joe Biden’s Israel policy during Hamas tensions.

Senator Scott feared Squad members and media outlets’ “misinformation war” for Hamas. Disinformation may be as harmful as regional warfare, he added.

Scott finished by rejecting US aid to Gaza and Iran. He stated Hamas should not get U.S. funds and Congressmen who support it should be fired.
