Rashida Tlaib, a Democratic representative from Michigan, is now facing calls for her exclusion from future confidential briefings on Israeli military operations. This comes after she took the position of Hamas about the response of the Biden administration to the explosion that happened at a hospital in Gaza earlier this week. This follows her criticism of how the government handled its response to the situation earlier.
In an exclusive letter that was obtained by Fox News Digital on Thursday, Representative Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) accused a member of the far-left “Squad” of spreading “misinformation” when she restated Hamas’ assertion that Israel was responsible for the explosion at the hospital. Jackson sent the letter in response to a statement made by the individual. Jackson said that a member of the “Squad” was disseminating “misinformation” when she claimed that the explosion was the fault of Israel. On many times, the officials in charge of intelligence collecting in the United States and Israel have indicated that it was caused by a missile that was launched from Gaza, and they have provided supporting evidence.
In addition to this, Jackson charged that she had shown sympathy for the terrorist group Hamas.
In a letter to the Speaker Pro Tempore of the House Patrick McHenry (R-North Carolina) and the House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York), Jackson wrote, “I insist that Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib be barred from participating in any classified briefings concerning Israel’s ongoing military operations, Israel’s self-defense efforts, or any American military activities in the region.” Tlaib is a member of the Democratic Party of the United States. Tlaib is a committed Democrat in the United States Congress.
“We cannot allow members of this body who sympathize with Hamas to act as spokespeople for Palestinian terrorists,” according to one legislator. According to him, Rashida Tlaib, a member of Congress, has decided to support Hamas by disseminating false information rather than condemning the attacks that Hamas has carried out, despite the fact that she has the opportunity to do both.
After that, Jackson proceeded by saying that it has “become evident that Congresswoman Tlaib’s loyalty is with Hamas,” and that she should not be entrusted with sensitive data because it may “endanger the lives of American and Israeli citizens.”
“In addition, I call for the immediate revocation of her security clearance and her exclusion from any relevant briefings,” he said shortly thereafter.
Jackson made a vow to use the roles he has on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs to take any and all necessary steps in a statement that was delivered to Fox News. Jackson’s statement was sent to Fox News. He expressed his concern that Tlaib and other members of the so-called “Squad” have access to American intelligence regarding the situation in Israel.
“I’m unsure which is more troubling – having Members of Congress who are anti-Semitic and support Hamas, or allowing those Members of Congress to attend classified briefings about the Israel conflict,” added the Republican congressman.
According to the speaker of the House of Representatives, granting Representative Tlaib access to these briefings is the same as revealing one’s tactics to one’s adversaries. “You don’t reveal your strategies to the enemy,” the speaker added. In addition, this anti-American and anti-Jewish mindset that is emanating from elected “leaders” has to cease as soon as possible; continuing in this manner is a dangerous course of action, he concluded.
