President Trump has promised from early on in his campaign that he will build a wall on the southern border. The Democrats have denied the money and Paul Ryan is an open borders guy and Mitch McConnell had his cojones amputated the day he became Senate majority leader.
But that doesn’t mean the wall can’t be built. He can use money from the Pentagon budget and the Army Corps of Engineers to build the wall. If Obama can declare pending Pentagon money on global warming, then a wall is every bit as important as spending on global warming. No weather has ever killed 3,000 people and brought down two skyscrapers.
President Donald Trump said Friday that he’s considering using military resources to finish construction of his long-promised border wall instead of relying on Congress to fund the project through the Homeland Security Department’s budget.
He also wouldn’t eliminate the possibility of a government shutdown if Democrats continue to confound his efforts to appropriate money for the project on the U.S.-Mexico border.
‘We have two options,’ he told DailyMail.com aboard Air Force One as he flew from Billings, Montana to Fargo, North Dakota. ‘We have military, we have homeland security.’
He was asked specifically about using the Army Corps of Engineers as a taxpayer-funded construction crew.
The President needs to use whatever he can to build the wall. There is no way we can leave such a gaping hole in our border and expect to keep drug dealers, human smugglers or terrorists out of our country. The Democrats can yell and scream but it won’t do any good after they allowed Obama to spend from almost every agency on global warming initiatives, also known as throwing money down a rat hole.
Enough talk and just do it already! It’s about time, isn’t it?!
