President Trump has unveiled a sweeping “whole-of-government” initiative, dubbed “Riot Inc.,” aimed at exposing and dismantling the financial infrastructure behind Antifa-affiliated groups, administration officials said.
At a White House roundtable, cabinet members and independent journalists shared firsthand experiences of Antifa-linked violence, as the President directed agencies to trace dark money, scrutinize nonprofit donors, and unmask funding pathways that allegedly support organized unrest.
Officials argued that uncovering the money trail is essential to disrupting what they describe as a coordinated protest ecosystem. They pointed to grant networks, bail funds, and nonprofit donors—including several prominent foundations—as key nodes in the strategy.
As part of the effort, Trump reaffirmed his intent to classify Antifa as a “major terrorist organization” and urged federal agencies to use tools such as RICO statutes, IRS audits, and enhanced DOJ investigations. Critics responded that the move risks chilling dissent and lacks clear legal grounding for targeting decentralized activism.
The “Riot Inc.” push comes amid escalating political tension. Trump and his advisers frame it as a necessary defense of law and order. Opponents warn it could mark the most expansive government effort yet to surveil and penalize protest networks.
