President Trump says he wants Adam Schiff questioned for fraud and treason.

    Is this reasonable?

Depends on who you ask, so let’s look at this logically. On national television, Adam Schiff intentionally misrepresented the conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky of Ukraine. Was it to fool the other members of the committee?

Not likely since by then they had all read the transcript. So, it was the television viewers he was trying to fool and would that not be a fraud? If I did a commercial for an herbal product that I promised would cure cancer, would that not be a fraud?

Of course, it would and Schiff trying to make viewers believe President broke the law would be equally fraudulent. So, how about treason? Not necessarily, however any conspiracy by two or more people is considered sedition can result in a twenty-year prison sentence.

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

    (June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 808; July 24, 1956, ch. 678, § 1, 70 Stat. 623; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(1)(N), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)
This speaks for itself and almost every Democrat in the House could be considered conspirators if they try to impeach President Trump without evidence of a felony or a misdemeanor. They spread lies and innuendo and try to pass it off as truth or intentionally misrepresent what was said or done in order to make it appear that the president is guilty of wrongdoing.
