President Donald Trump denied that input from Middle Eastern partners influenced his recent choice to hold off on military action against Iran, stating the judgment was entirely his own. Speaking publicly, Trump emphasized that although regional allies were consulted, he reached his decision based on his own assessment of the situation.

The president’s remarks came amid heightened tensions following weeks of unrest in Iran and internal debate over whether to pursue strikes after reports of violence against civilians. Trump noted that he was informed of developments in Iran and used that information to guide his course of action.

Trump also reiterated that all options remain available should the circumstances change. He framed the pause in military planning as a measured response rather than a concession to external pressure.

The president’s comments underscore his assertion of decision-making autonomy in matters of national security, even as he maintains close communication with partners in the region. Trump’s stance reflects a broader effort to balance strategic caution with readiness to act if necessary.
