On Wednesday, President Trump unleashed a bold rebuke toward global leaders Xi Jinping of China, Vladimir Putin of Russia, and Kim Jong Un of North Korea, accusing them of plotting against the United States. This public criticism landed just as the trio appeared side by side at a grand military parade in Beijing commemorating the end of World War II.

In a post on his social media platform, Trump struck a sarcastic tone, sending pleasantries to the leaders while questioning their loyalty to U.S. interests. He also called attention to America’s wartime sacrifices to aid China—raising whether Xi would acknowledge such support in his speech.

The jaw-dropping accusation came amidst a carefully staged display of China’s military strength in Tiananmen Square, featuring hypersonic missiles, armored columns, AI-equipped weaponry, and over 12,000 troops. Xi framed the parade as a symbol of China’s rebirth and unwavering sovereignty, while Putin and Kim’s attendance underscored a deepening anti-West alliance.

In response to Trump’s claims, Russian officials quickly denied any conspiracy—some dismissing the remarks as ironic or tongue-in-cheek.
